CHICAGO (FinalCall.com) - As he took his seat in the studio at WVON 1690AM on Chicago's south side for an interview with the legendary host Cliff Kelley, the Honorable Minister Farrakhan made note that the station was one of the last of the great talk radio stations historically used to inform and educate the Black community.

Information and education was exactly the order of the day as the voice of Minister Farrakhan was broadcast for three hours to thousands listening on their radios and others viewing the live streaming feed via internet.

Mr. Kelley—affectionately called “The Governor” of Black talk radio—sought answers from the Minister on every topic currently in the news, and Minister Farrakhan delivered.

The Minister wasted no time commenting on the rancorous controversy and dangerous climate that exists surrounding Pres. Barack Obama with an insightful analysis of what the Minister described as a “Pyrrhic victory” regarding the health care reform bill—meaning, despite the win, the victor was devastated during the battle.

“It was a victory in one sense, but great loss in another because you have 13 or 14 states desiring to repeal this law, and you have the vitriol, and the manifestation of hatred—because President Obama is viewed and is being demonized as a Socialist, and even as a Hitler,” said Min. Farrakhan. “I called it a Pyrrhic victory, because even though Mr. Obama won one of the greatest things of his young presidency, something that America has been desirous of for many, many decades, yet, at the same time of the victory, there's a splitting of the country.”

Minister Farrakhan said we are witnessing the second phase of Reconstruction, referring to the period following the Civil War, when Black political officials were put in place in many areas. A vicious White backlash to this partial Black rule resulted in the turning out of Blacks from office, the resurgence of the Ku Klux Klan and a renewed and intensified campaign of outright mob attacks and lynching of Black people.

The current loss of civility in the political arena, the racial slurs hurled at members of Congress, and the words of influential right wing ideologues such as Rush Limbaugh, the rise of militia movements, and exploding gun sales have created a toxic climate that could ultimately lead to Pres. Obama being harmed or even killed.

The Minister warned those “fermenting and fomenting potential violence” that to do so would be a terrible mistake that would invite God's wrath and cause revolution.

Later, re-emphasizing this point, the Minister said, “To harm him would be very, very reckless. It would be so destructive to the social fabric of this country. I'm appealing to you. If you think this way, go back, and re-think it, because you will be sentencing your country to a hell of a time! I would warn you: Leave brother alone!” Min. Farrakhan stated emphatically. “If you don't like him, vote him out! We can stand to lose an election, but we cannot stand to see another family, a wife robbed of her husband, children, robbed of a father, like Martin Luther King's family had to grow up. We will not tolerate that in 2010 in the United States of America!”

The Kingmakers

The conversation then shifted to discussion of powerful lobbyists and special interests groups that dominate the political realm. The Minister said Pres. Obama was “selected” by those with a particular agenda then subsequently “elected” by a vote from the American people as a result of the influence of those persons.

Despite Pres. Obama's ambitious desire to change the image of America abroad, and to re-establish ties with the Muslim world and the nations of the Earth, he is not being permitted to do what is in his heart, because the forces that orchestrated his rise now determine his direction.

“When we are chosen for a particular purpose, we may never know the purpose of the ‘King Maker' but, they make the person think that he is the one that can save the country, and Obama could have, but they won't let him,” said Min. Farrakhan.

Referring to Pres. Obama's powerful Zionist political advisors and financial advisors who—in many cases were many of the same people responsible for the current economic crisis—the Minister invoked the words of Mayer Amschel Rothschild who famously said he didn't really care who made the laws, as long as he controlled the finance. Min. Farrakhan then began his analysis of America's wrong-headed foreign policy, which has America's military forces stretched thin with hefty amounts of the American taxpayers' money being delivered annually to aid to Israel in her oppression of the Palestinian people.

“If you look at the amount of taxpayer dollars that support Israel, the amount of military hardware that is given to Israel, the trading of military secrets between the two governments,” Min. Farrakhan continued, “I think that the American people need to understand that the government of the United States of America is not theirs! It belongs to special interests! It belongs to the money people and to heck with the vote of the American people!”

This line of questioning by Mr. Kelley led directly to a discussion of a shrinking yet vocal and influential segment of the Jewish community. Though painted erroneously in the media as an anti-Semite, Min. Farrakhan continues to reach large enthusiastic and receptive crowds with truth, which has angered organizations like the Anti-Defamation League of B'nai B'rith and those of like mind that monitor his speeches and activities.

“I would like to say to the members of the Jewish community who may be listening, or watching, I want you to know from my lips, and from my heart (that) I've never hated the Jewish people,” said Min. Farrakhan. “There are righteous Jews, righteous Christians, righteous Muslims—it is not the righteous that we are addressing. We are trying to correct an element within the Jewish community that knows the Law of God, and has gone contrary to that Law.”

Then leaning forward in his seat pointing his finger for emphasis, he said, “I am to you as the prophets that God sent to the Children of Israel. They didn't speak the word of correction to the Children of Israel out of hatred! They spoke words of correction in hopes that a behavioral change would take place so that they could regain the favor of God that they had lost by their rebellion to His laws, statutes and commandments.”

There are no reported incidents of any member of the Nation of Islam, nor anyone influenced by Minister Farrakhan ever harming a member of the Jewish community, or defacing a Jewish synagogue. The fact that many members of the Jewish community refuse to hear his words of correction and instead prefer hurling specious and discredited howls of anti-Semitism at him shows a “sociopathic personality and a pathology of fear that you think every cry is against you!”

He then clearly and directly served notice.

“But we know what we have suffered at the hands of those who say they are Jews—and they are not, according to the scripture. These wicked ones are called the synagogue of Satan and those are the persons that I am addressing, and that we are addressing. And the inordinate misuse of Jewish influence, money and power can sentence the people to a persecution, and even death. When the masses wake up to the fact that they have lost their country, and if America is pushed into a war with Iran—which will trigger the greater War of Armageddon—you will loathe the day that you did not listen to a man from among you that does not hate you but, will talk to you straightforward, without fear, in hopes that you will correct your behavior,” the Minister warned. “I would hope that you can look into my eyes—if you can see the television and hear from me that I am not what you've painted me to be to the American people, and the people around the world! And soon, you will come to know it and the world will also.”

Originally scheduled for only the first two hours of Cliff Kelley's show, Min. Farrakhan graciously agreed to stay an additional hour, and really, he was just warming up.

The conversation was so fluid and the call-in line was lit up constantly with those anxiously waiting to ask the Minister questions. Calls poured in from all points of the United States, and even from as far away as the United Kingdom.

One caller expressed his desire for Min. Farrakhan to be interviewed by FOX's Sean Hannity or Bill O'Reilly, two right wing blowhards with evening shows.

“They are not worthy of my breath,” Min. Farrakhan stated bluntly.

Towards the end of the interview, Min. Farrakhan read information complied by the Historical Research Department dealing with Iran. The research shows that Iran is not the menacing and backwards nation it has been described as and portrayed in the media, however, before the Minister could completely read all of the information to the eager listening audience, the show ended. Mr. Kelley gingerly interrupted him to let him know they ran out of time, and the men both laughed. It appeared as if the Minister didn't even notice that he had been on the airwaves for three full hours.

“That's it? It's over?” asked the Minister. “I was just getting warmed up!”

Mr. Kelley told the listeners not to worry, Minister Farrakhan would be back on his show again very soon.
